A number of tin-plate items were also produced, with Bonzo images printed on them.
This example is a small saucer.

Germany was also famed for making quality tin-plate toys, & when it came to Bonzo there was no exception.
This lovely wind-up toy was made by the Guntherman company.
When wound up & released, Bonzo rocks back & forth as the toy runs forward as if pushing it along.

A highly collectable example of the German tin-plate production, this wonderful bank was made by the Bavarian company Saalheimer Strauss.  To operate the bank, the lever on front is depressed, causing a large tongue to protrude and the eyes to lower.  A coin is placed on the tongue and the lever raised.  The tongue returns into the mouth & the coin slides from it into the bank.
The coins are removed by means of a key locking coin trap in the base.

The short poem under the paws advises:
Press the lever lightly,
Watch my tongue appear,
Save a penny nightly,
Make your fortune here.
